Cultural Debris

Cultural Debris is an ongoing zine project that explores the reuse and re-contextualization of discarded imagery, sourced from unwanted or discarded books. The imagery in these zines have been removed from their origin, and re-contextualized as part of an exploration of visual remix and narrative reconstruction.

The main goal of the project is to motivate viewers to challenge previous assumptions about authorship, permanence, and the cultural value of printed material.
